Notice: Passing of club member - Tom Nelson

This is a note from his wife Helen.

I'm sorry to inform you that Tommy passed away yesterday at 8:45 pm. He needed his rest as he was struggling for every breath. At one point we thought he might recover but the infections in his lungs overtook him. He just wanted to be home and he got there. We had Vitas Hospice and they were wonderful. The memorial service is tentatively scheduled for Friday at 11am at Meadowbrook UMC in east Fort Worth and we would love for any who can attend. He was the love of my life and it will be hard to go on without him but God will give me strength. Keep praying for me. All of you meant so much to him, his wood friends, his birding friends and all our family. I don't know how people can handle things when they don't have the wonderful friends we have made over the years.

Love, Helen Nelson
