Board Meeting Place Changed
The location for the WNT
Board Meetings has recently changed. Now, the Board meetings are held at Schlotzsky’s Deli,6422 Camp Bowie, south of I-30. Check the WNT web site for any updates. All WNT members are invited to attend. If you would like to join the group for dinner, it begins at 6 PM and the business meeting starts at 7 PM.

New Instant Gallery
Format
The Instant Gallery Section
has been updated with pictures from the September 2007 club meeting.
Changes have been made in the
format of the Instant Gallery segment of the monthly program to allow more
time for the demonstration. There will be three tables set up:
Critique Items, New Turnings, and Bring Back items. Continue to bring all your new
turnings to show and pick one that you would like to include on the "Critique" table. All
turnings will be photographed as usual and posted on the website. However, only one turning
per person will be critiqued during the meeting. This format will allow a more
thorough critic of individual pieces while allowing more time for the program.
Membership
Renewal
It is now time to renew your
membership for 2008. The cost of membership is $24 per year.
Membership renewals are due on the first of the year. A membership
renewal form can be downloaded from the following link:

WNT Membership Renewal Form. Members are encouraged when renewing to elect
to receive the club newsletter electronically. Doing so will reduce printing and mailing expenses. Additionally, many hours
could be saved each month in preparing fewer printed copies.
